Sanctuary Computer is a team of 7 creative technologists: 6 developers & a senior producer working, creating, and occasionally throwing parties on the Bowery. We are currently building sites, apps, and experiences for several established companies & startups in the art, music, mindfulness, food tech, and canna industries.

We are looking for a junior producer to help with all aspects of production, to learn, grow, and contribute to our ethos & environment.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology, art, design, and excited to learn the ebb and flow of a NYC creative studio/agency.

At an junior level we are looking for an inherently organized person, someone who takes initiative, wants to participate and bring ideas to the table, is comfortable client facing, and really digs ice cream.

Responsibilities will include - the willingness to learn how to or have the experience to help with - the following:

• Oversee project management, geek out over improving process, and be a support for the developers and creatives
• Be a line of communication between the client and the in-house team by scheduling and participating in meetings, taking notes, keeping things on track by managing timelines, developing estimates and crafting scopes
• Help manage photoshoot production needs including talent hunting, location scouting, casting, studio set-up, show running, and post-production execution
• Create, maintain, and oversee budgets, invoices, and general finance
• Plan and travel with us to festivals, conferences, meet ups — we just got back from Moogfest!
• Maintain office management — includes rooftop gardening!
• Participate in brainstorms
• Help us setup/break down for our annual/epic Halloween party
• Hang with our resident pup Albus

Requirements:

• A background in school or IRL in one or more of the following: tech, art, design, music or science
• Studio or agency experience is NOT required
• Ability to wear multiple hats and be calm, cool, chill, and collected while doing so
• Must love dogs
• Program Must-haves: proficiency in the usual Mac OS, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Dropbox
• Nice-to-haves: proficiency in Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, InVision, GitHub
