We hope that you are ready to get your Sandblock Coins! You can browse through those articles if you are missing some information regarding the migration process.

➡️ Step #1 — Migration preparation (Sept. 2nd to Oct. 2nd)
➡️ Step #2 — SAT Contract snapshot (Oct. 2nd)
▶️ Step #3 — SAT to SBC migration (Oct. 3rd to Dec. 31st)
➡️ Step #4 — Migration completion & SAT deprecation

⚠️ Warning: your SAT tokens must be on a wallet that you control. If not, it is now too late!

Prerequisites

✅ Access to your SAT tokens (a wallet that you control)
✅ A wallet to receive SBC (we will create one in this tutorial)
✅ Internet, your hands and a little bit of your attention

The snapshot contract is available here.

Migration process

Go to the Migration page

From this page, you will be able to access the migration process. Read the instructions and recommendations carefully. ❗

When you are ready, click on the “I have read and I agree the given conditions without any reserve” button.

Create a Sandblock Chain wallet

You will now have to generate a wallet. All this process is done on the client side, nothing reaches our servers. Please remember that this is a blockchain system, you are solely responsible of your private key. 🔐

Choose a password (to unlock your wallet later) of at least 6 characters and remember it. You will now be able to download your wallet file. Store it in a safe place! 💾

It will be a .json file containing your wallet information protected with the password you entered previously.

Sign the message

We are getting to the longest part. You are going to sign a message that we will use as a proof of your SAT ownership on the Ethereum blockchain (no transaction fee involved).

NB: The easiest way is to click on the blue button “Help me to sign via MEW” to be redirected to the proper page on MyEtherWallet’s website.

For this tutorial, I’m going to use MyEtherWallet. You can choose whatever you want. 👍

On MEW, go to the “Message” — “Sign Message” tab.

From here, copy & paste your “Message to sign” (available on your migration page) and click “Sign”. ✍

After confirming the signature of the message, you will get your “Signed message”. Copy this message. 📃

The copied message should look like this:

Return to the Sandblock migration page and paste the “Signed Message” in the field.
You can now send the signed message to confirm the allocation of your SBC on the Sandblock Chain.

State of your migration

You will now be redirected to the “Procedure State Check”. You can find your Reference and the Current State of your tokens migration. This process should normally take no more than 5 minutes. ✌

After confirmation of your migration, you will have your Sandblock Coins on your fresh Sandblock wallet ! 😍

Access your wallet

Go on the Sandblock Wallet page. This page is client-side and is not persistent: if you leave it, you will have to open your wallet again. 😉

Click on “Access My Wallet”, choose “Software” — “Keystore File” and open your downloaded wallet file (.json file). Type your password and click “Continue”.

You will arrive on the Wallet Management page. Here you will find your coins balance, your address and the basic blockchain functions: receiving and sending SBC! 😎

Your fresh SBC should already be visible (if not, try to wait a little longer and check your migration state with the “Reference” you got).

And.. its done!
If somehow you haven’t been able to get your Sandblock Coins (SBC), contact us via Telegram (sandblock_io): we will do our best to help you! 🤗
