Introducing The Sandbox Referral Program

We have updated the referral program! Here is everything you need to know.😉

TLDR:

The referral system will reward a 10% bonus, paid in same crypto-currency, for every new user signup that buys a LAND (or ESTATE) on our primary marketplace (https://www.sandbox.game/en/land/map/).
The referral system works as an incentive for anyone to drive new users to make LAND (or ESTATE) purchases, and they receive in return the referral bonus (10% of all purchases) for a 30 days period.
You can only be paid on the Wallet Address defined under the User Account.
All commissions fees will be paid automatically by smart-contract, without any human intervention on the process.

How to get your referral link?

To get your referal link go here. OR:

Sign-up, log-in.
From the home page, click on the “Earn” section on the left of your screen.
A drop-down menu will appear. Click on “Referrals”.
Copy paste the link under the “Share your referral link” section.
Share your refferal link to your friends!

Each User must have a Dashboard Account and a Wallet attached to it in order to get his Referral link.
The Referral link is unique per User and cannot be changed.

How do you get paid?

You will be paid in $SAND.
You can only be paid on the Wallet Address defined under the User Account.
All commissions fees will be paid automatically by smart-contract, without any human intervention on the process.
It should be paid instantly upon reception of the payment. No double payment or manual retriggering is possible

How does it work?

Only New Users can be referred if they click on a Referral link.
Upon clicking on the Referral link: if the user doesn’t have an account, then the user will be registered via the signup page.
If a User with an existing Account clicks on the link, nothing will happen and the user will be asked to login. You will *not* benefit from the 10%.

The referral period should be 30 days maximum. This expiration is calculated from the signup date of the user account creation

Example

Let’s consider 3 users and the date of November 29th, 2022: Alice who is the referrer, Bob who is an existing user with an account on The Sandbox dashboard, Casper who is a new user without account
Alice sends her Referral link on a social media tweet.
Bob clicks on it — nothing happens for him since he is already a logged in user. If Bob was NOT logged in, upon login on the login modal, the referrer value will not be saved, nothing happens
Casper clicks on it — he will see the Login Modal and proceed to the signup. Upon completing the signup, the referrer will be saved in our database backend
When Casper purchases a LAND (or ESTATE) on our primary marketplace, Alice will automatically receive 10% of commission bonus, paid by smart-contract, using the same currency as Casper used
If Casper makes a new purchase after December 29th, Alice will not receive any more commission bonus.
