The Sandbox Ft. Battle Racers
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Battle Racers, a giant arcade game made of fun, gravity-defying and race tracks!
Altitude Games, founded in March 2014 in Manila, Philippines, is the independent studio behind Battle Racers.
In the same vein as The Sandbox, Battle Racers cars effectively reflect each players’ personality and taste. Based on the Decentraland platform, Battle Racers is a game with user-generated content (UGC).
Players can design and assemble their own Battle Racer cars, mixing and matching a wide variety of parts and weapons, each with different rarity levels and special features. If the player wishes, winning Battle Racer cars can then be tokenized into collectibles with immutable records on the blockchain.
Battle Racers and The Sandbox will be mutually supporting each other in developing amazing gaming experiences. In the near future we could find some Battle Racers inspired dioramas with avatars attending races in The Sandbox metaverse.
We can’t wait to see all the amazing gaming experience that will be created as we build The Sandbox metaverse one LAND at a time!
