NOD Games, the game company behind the Crypto Sword & Magic game, plans on trailblazing the blockchain industry with engaging game content and a self-sovereign economic ecosystem. They plan to achieve this by delighting gamers with engaging content and empowering users with true ownership.

‘Crypto Sword & Magic’ is a traditional RPG game that raises heroes and challenges new dungeons. The 2D game is a new version of the popular Facebook game ‘Sword & Magic’ — enjoyed by over 700,000 gamers from 2012 through 2015 — that is built on the blockchain. The game comes with a sophisticated item economy, a transparent market economy, and various battle modes including both PvE and PvP.

The South Korean company has released this free-to-play RPG in June 2019 and expects to launch a Klaytn version within 2020. The game was played by more than 10,000 unique blockchain wallets across 30+ zones and was selected as one of the global top 10 blockchain games by multiple influential industry media, including DappRadar and Dapp.com.

Since launch, Crypto Sword & Magic has demonstrated market-leading traction from the market by being top #1–2 EOS game in transaction volumes throughout 2019 and distributed more than 6,500 EOS (roughly $30,000 USD) as a game reward.
