The Sandbox Ft. Shaun The Sheep

The Sandbox team is proud to announce that it is partnering with Aardman, the studio behind the ‘Shaun the Sheep’ global brand.

Starting as a character in the renowned series, Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep quickly made a name in his own series and two feature films. Now, the world’s most famous sheep will make its first big appearance in the blockchain world through The Sandbox! Shaun is the first sheep to ever enter the metaverse

The teams behind the ‘Shaun the Sheep’ brand are excited about creating exclusive non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on their universe and all the possibilities that true digital ownership secured by blockchain technology will offer.

Through this partnership, The Sandbox will have an ESTATE assigned to Shaun the Sheep’s voxel world. In sync with the space-themed sequel, ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmaggedon’, Shaun will be one of the first licensed characters to enter The Sandbox metaverse. Young and old fans alike will be able to play around in a voxel-made reimagining of the colorful Mossy Bottom Farm. Game experiences around Shaun, Bitzer, and the flock can be created by the community, including fans and voxel artists.
