TLDR;
- 4 waves will take place every Thursday starting on August 26th at 1PM UTC until September 16th.
- Premium LANDs will be specific to each wave with a bundle of five exclusive NFTs each wave.
- Glenn, Rick, and Negan will be among the NFTs that will be sold with the Premium LANDs.
- All ESTATEs will be sold via Dutch auction.
- Each large ESTATE will be located close to the main 24x24 The Walking Dead ESTATE.
- The Queue-It system won’t be effective during these sales.
Each week a new wave will be revealed around an iconic location from the comics, with a different set of NFTs including an exclusive hero, equipment and large prop bundled with the Premium LANDs.
Unique Assets
Each Premium LAND will come with a unique set of assets that you can use to build you very own The Walking Dead experiences inside The Sandbox. Each wave will have a different set of NFTs, which are unique to The Walking Dead, and can only be acquired through Premium LANDs or Opensea.
ESTATEs
All the ESTATEs will be auctioned on OpenSea at the same time as each wave begins every week. However, for this special event we are changing things up a bit. All the ESTATEs will be listed via Dutch auction.
- Every ESTATE will have a starting and ending price depending on its size (small, medium or large)
How does the Dutch auction work?
The auction will begin at the starting price corresponding to its size and will slowly decrease to the corresponding end price. The first person to accept the bid will get the ESTATE. You will have to be quick when the ESTATE reaches the price you want to bid at or someone could get it before you do.
Wave 1 — The Prison
Opening up the Walking Dead LAND sale on August 26th at 1PM UTC with the sale of 530 LANDs and 120 Premium LANDs surrounding the Prison.
Premium NFTs will include a bundle of five NFTs
Wave 2 — Alexandria
Following the events of the first wave, we will make our way to the Alexandria Safe-Zone colony on September 2nd where 502 LANDs and 95 Premium LANDs will be sold. This will also be the time to team up with Glenn, the barrel riot shield, the church, a walker and survivor NPC.
Wave 3 — The Commonwealth
For the third wave of this LAND sale we reach the Commonwealth on September 9th where the infamous Negan awaits you with his bat Lucille, along with the windmill, a walker and survivor NPC. You will be able to purchase some of the 416 LANDs and 97 Premium LANDs.
Wave 4 — Sanctuary
We will reach the final location of our LAND on sale on September 16th at 1PM UTC where you will be able to purchase some of the 602 LANDs and 200 Premium LANDs that will include the final round of exclusive The Walking Dead NFTs.
