Special Charity Auction
Welcome to the final week of Sandclock’s month-long endeavor to highlight 4 incredible organizations and conduct an auction of 4 one-of-a-kind Wicked Craniums Gods! 100% of proceeds from the auction will be donated to purpose-driving organizations. Below you will find a recap of our plans and how the auction will work, as well as more information about this unique partnership with Health Finance Institute (HFI) and their collaboration with the Danish Red Cross.
Sandclock x Health Finance Institute Partnership
Sandclock is thrilled to announce a partnership with HFI and strategic collaboration with the Danish Red Cross! We are working together to conduct an NFT auction that will aid Type 1 Diabetes in Mexico and Type 2 Diabetes in Armenia!
100% of proceeds from the Water God will go directly to HFI.
Founded on the foundation of amplifying greater good, Sandclock continues to bring highly reputable global organizations to the DeFi ecosystem to collaborate on important projects and many more will be announced in due course of time.
The Burden of Diabetes & HFI’s Strategic Vision
The global burden of diabetes underscores the need for urgent action. Over 500 million people are living with Type 2 Diabetes globally. Approximately 33% of children living with Type 1 Diabetes in low-income countries won’t make it past their 25th birthday. This burden is compounded by insufficient funding. As a global health non-profit dedicated to closing the financing gap for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), HFI advocates for and forges data-driven/evidence-based innovative financing partnerships.
HFI’s Diabetes Programs
Equipped with a mission to democratize impact investing, HFI will launch two diabetes programs: one in Mexico and one in Armenia. With 12.8 million adults in Mexico living with Type 2 Diabetes and 26,578 children with Type 1 Diabetes, it is undoubtedly a prevalent issue. Similarly, there are 141,200 adults in Armenia living with Type 2 Diabetes. HFI will work with local partners in Mexico to increase access to life-saving medical devices for youth living with Type 1 Diabetes. Additionally, HFI will partner with the Danish Red Cross to create the first social impact bond for Type 2 Diabetes in Armenia. Collectively, these programs will help scale up the efforts and programs designed to aid those living with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes.

Wicked Craniums is one of the fastest growing NFT projects in the space. And to be honest, the art is really, really cool. Sandclock and its team members have been long-time fans of Wicked Craniums and continue to be involved in the fantastic Wicked Craniums community.

It has been a true pleasure working with the Wicked Craniums team to make this auction happen, and we believe this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership — and friendship — between Sandclock and Wicked Craniums.
Here’s how it will work. Wicked Craniums has created 5 one of a kind NFT skull Gods. They have very generously donated 4 of those skulls to be auctioned off for charity. In the coming weeks, we will be unveiling the Wicked Craniums skull Gods and the charities who will receive 100% of proceeds from their corresponding skull in the auction.
We will also be having discussions around the importance of each charity’s chosen cause, speaking with representatives from each charity, and more. Keep an eye out!
This partnership between Sandclock, Health Finance Institute, and Wicked Craniums is at the intersection of art, DeFi, and philanthropy. We hope it is only the beginning and that we will see more collaborations of this nature in the future!
