WAGMI Sc3nius

GM!

I’m taking this moment in the morning to bring your attention to a new Sc3nius that’s around us. It’s not coming; it’s already here!

With every catastrophe, there’s always come a massive change in how we innovate and work. Years ago, if it didn’t happen in person — it wasn’t real. Now we’re already living in a time when we must ask — if it isn’t happening online, is it real?

What’s changed? COVID lockdowns turned us to online-first communication, and initially, it was hard for all of us, then eventually, it became a new normal. With this, the innovation building, research making and even fundraising procedures wholly changed. Teams are remote-first, sometimes unknown, and money is all around us. You just need to be in the right Scene.

More so, by moving all the collaboration online, the culture changed. By now, it’s a daily practice to start a day by saying GM, and if someone succeeds or fails — we congratulate them and remind them and ourselves that we’re all gonna make it. WAGMI!

Although this change is not only happening in Web 3.0, historians will obviously remember this Sc3nius from Web 3.0. In the following change, we’ll fix many of our most pressing problems thanks to these changes.

We’re living in a fantastic time when we’re able to run thousands of experiments at once via the tools developed for Web 3.0.

In the next decade, we’ll have something that feels like a fully functioning Metaverse, and people will start spending more of their time in these virtual worlds. They require new open-governance models and economic structures. And the experiments we’re running in Web 3.0 now will influence how those worlds will run.

The ancient Greece Scenius gave us Democracy. What models will the WAGMI Scenius give for the virtual worlds?

Beyond that, once we develop further and perhaps become a multi-planetary civilisation, we’ll need new models, and these will also be influenced by the changes happening around us now. It might be a leap to draw this conclusion, but don’t be surprised if your children will live in a world that’s been shaped by the changes happening around us now.

What can you do to jump on the train?

- Start following what these people are doing who’ve already understood that this is a new reality. And once you feel confident, join us.

- Realise that things that might seem like novelties or toys now, for example, tokens, NFTs, DAOs and DeFi, are building blocks that future generations will use to create the new reality.

If you’re already a part of the Scene, realise that what you do now will have a much far looking impact. Don’t get too serious, don’t crush the magic but realise the magnitude of the opportunity & the responsibility in front of you.

And with this, I invite you to join the community built by WOF Labs or let’s see if you can help us build the Supplain protocol. Or, if you’re building something else, I’m happy to look into it and have deeper discussions.

Either way, get involved!
