NOVALA @ Mrs. Fish: Oct 1st, Saturday
The good folks at NOVALA invited me to their gig this Saturday and since I’m now that person whose +1 is always a camera, pictures were clicked. Here’s hoping that next time I can rent out — I dunno — an external flash and a longer, faster lens so that next time, the club staff don’t have to politely explain to me that my backside is not the show (NOT TONIGHT BUT ONE DAY!).
That’s Brandon, Leonne, Alex, Luis, Martin, Zach, Leo, Aziza & Chris (in the foreground). Primarily an instrumental band, they usually have a guest vocalist, or two as was the case that night. Stefanos Filippos Diamantopoulos and Suvi Suresh representing Greece & India (what up international flava!) took the stage with NOVALA later in the night.
At this point, you probably want to listen to them. Good for you, they will be doing their thing LIVE real soon - Oct 28th at Los Globos to be exact. The event ‘AFRODESIA’ starts at 9pm. Things will get funky going by the DJ line up & with a drum circle, I expect freaky too.
Great accompaniment to ring in the Halloween spirits #boo.
