Dangling vines, dredged banks
Delirious children, dainty carnations
Daunting thoughts, distracting colors
Desire to be heard, to leave the shadows

Calming breeze, cautious tides
Carefree leaves, capering birds
Caged without choice, caught in the moment
Calling for a wish, a day of melody

Brackish waters, breaking dawn
Backdrop deafening, breathing heavy
Bystanders retreating, biding their time
By and by, moments drag away

A simple attempt, a glimpse of dreams
A chance for chances, adieu to the past
A quivering sound, a faltering pitch
Another day, for a silent voice
