SCU Summer Adventures

Summer of 2016 is slowly coming to and end. We are so excited to see our students back on campus and we are also so proud of what they have achieved in these past 16 weeks —here are a few of our favorite photos from their summer experiences:

Students who traveled the world

Students who interned and worked hard

Alex Hall-Rocha really liked her internship at Facebook.
Megan Le took a glimpse into life after college with her internship at Juniper.

Students who stayed on campus

Xristina Mina stayed on campus for the YWCA practicum training and ResLife formation.
Our Women’s Cross Country Team along with all the other athletes who stayed in SCU and trained hard.
The SCU Tiny House Team came back to campus in August to initiate their building process.
Paul Kozel worked on campus as Student Athletic Trainer and volunteered as a medical staff on various events around the Bay area including Outside Lands.

Georgie Garner volunteered at the Blackfeet Indian reservation in Montana

Students who achieved or pursued something new

Liezl Fernando ‘16 who entered the 2016 Miss Asian Global & Miss Asian America Pageant and won the title of “Most Talented”.
These SCU students did the Walk Across California traveling by foot for 225 miles to Yosemite.
