Tralongo Taps Santech for “Enterprise Strength” Automated Provider Management
Fast-growing dental service organization expects to save countless hours and dramatically streamline credentialing and other provider enrollment tasks with Santech’s I-Enroll solution
Santéch, the technology innovator in simplifying Provider Management for both payers and practices, has added the dental service organization Tralongo LLC to its growing client portfolio. Tralongo is the latest company to replace inefficient and time-consuming provider credentialing with Santéch’s powerful, automated iEnroll solution.
“Tralongo is a growing company that’s adding three or four new strategic dental alliances per month. We wanted to spend more of our time accelerating this growth, not on a provider credentialing ‘to-do’ list,” said Sherri Mansell, Chief Operations Officer at Tralongo. “Santéch’s iEnroll eliminates an extraordinary amount of duplicative and manual work, automating much of our provider data management and creating a better experience for our practices.”
Streamlining credentialing for 150+ dental providers
With 75 dental practices throughout the country under its management, including 20 that it fully owns, Tralongo is one of the fastest-growing dental service organizations in the country. In contrast to other dental service organizations, Tralongo expends considerable resources on the practices it manages to prepare them for acquisition. These efforts include significant purchasing power and best practices tactics, along with backend support such as insurance verification, claim status checking, and provider enrollment and credentialing.
In the latter two activities, Tralongo found that the work was becoming cumbersome and in need of a scalable approach. Each of its 75 offices employs, on average, two dental providers, who are enrolled in 15 or more plans with a multitude of different forms and applications — and even different requirements according to the state in which the provider resides. All told, Tralongo staffers are tasked with managing a collection of approximately 30,000 documents, in addition to trying to maintain credentialing and track upcoming credential expiration dates for greater than 150 dental providers.
“It became clear we needed an enterprise strength solution to manage our credentialing activities,” added Mansell. “I-Enroll allows us to scale with our ongoing growth of new offices while increasing efficiencies at our existing facilities.”
I-Enroll also mitigates what would otherwise be an overwhelming onslaught of requests from payers for the latest data about its dental providers. With the new laws requiring payers to have the most current provider directories possible, Tralongo and other dental organizations are becoming inundated with these requests. Tralongo can now easily fulfill them with I-Enroll.
Breaking down credentialing “siloes”
I-Enroll offers dental service organizations and dental practices a single repository for fast on- boarding of new providers and simplified outreach to payers. A cloud-based solution,I-Enroll centralizes and automates credentialing document management and offers:
- Support for multiple facilities and locations
- Built-in workflow, e-notifications of upcoming expirations, form requirements and more
- Vast library of state-specific payer forms and applications
- Auto-population of data across applications, eliminating redundancy
- Seamless integration to third party verification services
This is just an abbreviated list of features within iEnroll; the solution offers a rich set of capabilities to easily manage provider onboarding activities for even the largest dental service organizations.
“There is so much functionality in iEnroll, it easily meets our varied business demands. We also greatly benefited from an onsite visit from the Santéch team, who exhibited deep listening skills and subject matter expertise and gave us a spot-on needs assessment,” said Martha Harp, Director of Insurance at Tralongo. “In fact, we plan to eventually use the comprehensive solution for delegated credentialing.”
“We are very pleased to welcome Tralongo to the Santéch customer family,” stated Neeraj K. Sharma, Chief Operating Officer at Santéch. “Together, we’ll demonstrate to the dental industry the difference that automated, enterprise-wide management of provider data can make to the modern dental service organization’s financial and operational management.”
