Development Update: October 18, 2018
When the team cranks out so many new things you just can’t keep track… what’s a poor dev update writer to do?
Rely on our Roadmap I guess! Which has been freshly revised with most recent progress on new on-chain data feeds, social metrics, AI/ML models and community analyses.

We continue to work on importing new blockchains. We’re also working on real-time signals, and collaborating with a growing team of data analysts and researchers who are helping to develop machine learning algorithms for more sophisticated social analyses.
But even the Roadmap is pretty high-level, so let’s call out a couple features we’re particularly charged about:
EOS On-chain Data
Yes… EOS on-chain stats are now available in our beta SANbase Dashboards. You can see data for EOS Daily Active Addresses, Transaction Volume, Number of Active Currencies and more, all plotted against EOS/USD or EOS/BTC price.

Social Trends

Just released to SANbase… type in a word or phrase and see how often it appears in crypto-related chatter online, plotted against BTC or ETH price.

Its also a great example of how we’re using SANbase Dashboards to try out new ideas, then move them over to SANbase as they mature. Social Trends started out on SANbase Dashboards as “Topic Search”, and it proved to be fun enough to use and popular enough to make it our first feature “brought up” in this manner.
Top Token Transactions
Any ERC20 token at https://app.santiment.net
Now you can look up any token on SANbase and see the most recent top transactions for the token — just search for the token and scroll to the bottom of its detail page to find the list.

Our Top Tokens list is unique in that:
- It automatically shows the top transactions only. No need to filter.
- It’s clearly marked if an exchange address is involved.
- We now have one of the largest… if not *the* largest… database of exchange addresses out there (more than Etherscan’s).
As a bonus on our SAN token page, we’ve included our top ETH transactions from team wallets as well (if you’re interested 🙂
ERC20 Tokens: “ETH Spent”

This feature became hot late this past summer, when “ICO projects dumping ETH” became somewhat of a meme as ETH’s price suffered sharp declines. We’ve been tracking this metric for awhile, but it definitely saw increased attention over the last few months and could still be of interest during a project’s lifecycle.
Simply go to the Ethereum page at the link above, and scroll down past the chart to get the ETH spent list.
Eyeing “High Orbit”
These new features execute on the vision we’ve had from the beginning — bring clarity to crypto, and cut through the noise. From here, we can clearly see the path to our “High Orbit” set for 2019.
We’ve long believed the only way you can get a true picture of what’s going on in the crypto world is by looking at many aspects at once… not only on-chain data, or only social trends.
Until now people have needed to look everywhere, in many places, to find all of these metrics. We aim to be the first platform to provide meaningful, reliable and actionable sets of data/metrics on the complete “behavior elephant“: on-chain + social + traditional trading data.
