Partnership Announcement: Santiment data, charts and insights — now on Bitfinex!
Today, we are happy to announce the results of a tight-knit collaboration effort that’s been over 6 months in the making.
We have partnered with Bitfinex, one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, to bring clarity and market expertise to their users by integrating our on-chain, social and development data for 100+ different coins, along with our curated market insights and analysis about all things crypto.
For years, Santiment metrics have been used by crypto traders and investors to identify market trends, spot forming tops and backtest their potential portfolios and strategies. More than just trading tools, our data sets have helped crypto enthusiasts everywhere recognize, valuate and interpret distinct network behavior, and observe their favorite coins from new, previously inaccessible angles.
We are very excited to make many of these features directly available to a growing BFX user base. From now on, each coin listed on Bitfinex will have a dedicated ‘Santiment’ page which will expand way beyond price data, and offer a more comprehensive, 360° overview of the token.
The new ‘Santiment’ coin page will host an array of on-chain, social and development indicators and charts, extensively tested and custom-built by Santiment over the last 2 years.
For the first time, Bitfinex users will have direct access to a suite of historical and real-time fundamental data for all coins/projects listed on the exchange, including:
Free Metrics:
- General Project Info — Market cap, circulating & total supply, ROI etc.
- Financial info — Treasury balances & wallet addresses
- Social metrics — Social volume and social word cloud for the observed coin
- Daily snapshot of Active Addresses
- Monthly snapshot of Development Activity
- Santiment Community Insights
Premium Metrics and Charts:
- Daily Active Addresses
- Network Growth
- On-chain Transaction Volume
- Token Age Consumed
- Token Circulation
- Token Velocity
- Exchange Flow Balance
- Daily Active Deposits
- MVRV ratio
- Relative Social Dominance (the share of coin mentions on crypto social media in a wider pool of 50+ most talked-about projects)
- Developer activity
Other than data points and charts, the page will also integrate a curated list of ‘Santiment Community Insights’, showing the latest market research and analysis about each token performed by the Santiment team and our vetted community members.
You can quickly access the ‘Santiment’ page for any coin on Bitfinex by clicking on the Santiment logo, now found right to the price on each coin’s trading page:
Another Use Case for SAN Token
This is a big day not just for Santiment, but also its native coin. At the moment, SAN tokens are primarily used to gain access to different parts of the Santiment platform, including our advanced dashboards, our robust API and our newly-released Spreadsheets plug-in. You can find more information about all our current tools here.
We’re very excited to extend this use case to Santiment metrics on Bitfinex as well. Some of our charts and data points on the new ‘Santiment’ page will be free, while others will require a monthly subscription, paid exclusively in SAN. And of course, you can get you some SAN directly on Bitfinex!
As you may know, we’re also hard at work developing additional use cases for SAN. Most notably, the token will become the backbone of Santiment’s future curation market, its community and the platform’s internal economy.
We have already begun incentivising members of our ‘SAN Clan’ (community leaders) to share their insights and custom market analysis (all powered by Santiment’s data) by giving away small amounts of SAN.
Staked SAN tokens and those received as reward by Santiment or its community members will also be used for weighted voting within the Santiment community. Stay tuned!
One small step for Santiment…
This ‘data & insights’ integration is the first project-exchange partnership of its kind, which makes us immensely proud. Even more, we hope this collaboration will serve as a valuable proof of concept, and a clear blueprint for dozens of similar future alliances with trading platforms, data providers and cryptocurrency exchanges.

Finally, it’s important to note that this is just the first step in a much wider collaboration effort. In the near future, we plan on integrating many more of our metrics and additional WIP features directly to the Bitfinex trading platform.
