For more than 18 years, LeverX has been closely collaborating with SAP as an international business consulting firm. With more than 550 successful customer projects, LeverX set up their own customer facing creative space in Minsk last year and became part of the SAP AppHaus Network. The partner synergies have evolved rapidly through the consequent application of SAP’s Human-Centered Approach to Innovation with the goal to co-innovate with SAP Business Technology Platform. LeverX pools outstanding technological and architectural competencies and has built up Design Thinking as a new skill within the last few years. The combination of both worlds proved to be highly rewarding. Design Thinking quickly morphed into Design Doing. So far, however, co-innovation could only take place virtually. As part of the one-year anniversary, a debut hybrid event could take place in LeverX’s AppHaus location in Minsk. Together with representatives of leading banks, use cases for future customer experience were developed as part of an innovation workshop.

SAP AppHaus Network’s gate to Eastern Europe

As the first SAP AppHaus Network partner in Eastern Europe, LeverX is a key contributor to deliver human-centered innovation to SAP customers across the globe. With its customer facing creative space, LeverX is part of the network of more than 18 locations worldwide comprising both SAP and partner-driven AppHaus locations. A creative space and the consistent application of SAP’s Human-Centered Approach to Innovation, which helps unlock the full potential of SAP technologies, particularly SAP Business Technology Platform, defines and unites the global network. After one year of virtual co-innovation, this approach could now be leveraged on site again in a hybrid setting.

“Back to the future” — Co-innovation in the familiar on-site environment

Shortly after the event’s start, keynotes by Andreas Hauser, Senior Vice President of the SAP AppHaus Network and Birgit Fien-Schmalzbauer, Global Head of SAP AppHaus Partner Network, prepared the 20 participants for the upcoming innovation workshop on “Advanced Customer Experience. How to exceed customer expectations.” Together with six representatives of leading banks in Minsk, more than 30 solutions for a future customer experience were defined and prototyped. The use cases are based on intelligent technologies that help transforming the interaction between customer and bank.

“It wasn’t just a great birthday of our one-year partnership, but a fantastic opening of our creative space, where we could finally co-innovate with customers on-site. Even if virtual collaboration proved to work, it was amazing to see how after a short time of putting heads together 30 disruptive innovation ideas were created.” — Artsem Yemtsau, Head of Technology & Innovation, LeverX

As entire SAP AppHaus Network, we are pleased that the full creative potential of our innovation space could now finally be utilized on-site in Minsk. True to the spirit of “back to the future,” it is encouraging to see that we are slowly but surely moving back to on-site workshops in which solutions to challenges of the future can be developed simultaneously. We are convinced that, with the improving pandemic situation, also in the other AppHaus locations we will soon be able to take a step towards hybrid or even physical workshop and co-innovation settings.

“Thank you for already one year of highly valuable partnership and the opportunity to contribute in the celebration last week. Your expertise is essential to realize our goal of scaling human-centered innovation. I look forward to many more years of value creation for our customers and end users by putting them in the center of our innovation efforts.”Andreas Hauser, SVP of the SAP AppHaus Network
