Here we are! First day on site
Today was our first day at ComIT. What a day!
It was time to meet some of the team members of the organization so on friday, we worked together with María Jose, or “Majo”, and also with Estefanía, also known as “Tefi”.
They both work as administrative assistants but they are also committed to help children and professors with any requests or issues they might have during their courses or workshops.
It’s was a really great opportunity to explore different points of view on how ComIT can improve and which could be the next steps to achieve their goals.
For most of the non profit organizations it’s really hard to understand that, in order to grow, they need to start thinking somehow as an enterprise (especially when it comes to sectorize areas) but without loosing the vision of what they truly believe and fight for.
It’s also pretty common to see that some tasks are done by most of the members, which sometimes ends in assignments done double or communications getting lost because there is no guidance established.
So as the title says: “Here we are”, to comprehend why things are being done this way so far, and least but not less important: to think outside the box and see how can we collaborate from our perspective.
Maybe it’s time for you to think outside the box today too!
