A special gift

Two days now in Ho Chi Minh City. Sunday was a great day for the whole team as we could get together for the first time. Several activities and proposed challenges helped us to find out what we can achieve as a group. We could not wrap up better, as we went to a nice vietnamese restaurant for good food and some beers (or would be coconuts?).

Dinner at Propaganda

Then this morning was show time. We met at Muong Thanh Saigon Centre Hotel for the kick-off with the clients: G.A.P, XanhShop, Saigon Children’s Charity, and of course, Teach for Vietnam! So motivating to see so many organizations engaged in improving people’s life’s, and doing it so passionately. I feel so blessed for starting to work with Teach for Vietnam today, because coincidently it’s my birthday! I would not wish better and more special gift. :-)

Sabbatical fellows with the organizations’ teams

Time to work, and we spent the afternoon with TFV in their office aligning our understanding about the organization and the project. A lot more hours of studying, design thinking and hard working are coming. But it’s inspiring, and exciting, because TFV is so passionate for education and for the wish of improving students education in Vietnam that work with them is just fun. Looking forward for more!
