Another week is gone, how did it happen?

Who would imagine that the second week of our assignment will move that quickly? The Monday I was publishing the last week seems like it was just yesterday… but it isn’t. Due to that fact allow me to summarize a little bit, what happened that there was no post from my side…

First of all, I am so grateful for my colleagues, who are posting their personal views as well and so our dear followers can receive different perspectives in a very consistent way and style! I am so proud of being a GLOBAL CITIZEN where none of our passports matters!

After many observing occasions during the first week, we jump into building up the digital content into the platform, which we choose to move forward. You would ask which one? And the answer is there will be the right time to share it, but not today…we were building up not only content but also different financial models, calculations to bring a solid proposal for JA Zimbabwe. We conducted additional interviews with core stuff and also with the executive director in person. That all helped to understand better their vision and anticipations for the future.

Discussion with Executive Director Phil Mlambo

It seems we are driving the initiative in the right direction. All that would not be possible without every one of STAR Alliance team JA Zimbabwe!

What we are doing in particular: we have our financial and budgeting advisor Markus. He incorporates the important planning and cost allocations to bring real value out of the project. We also have a technician, even without any technical skills and knowledge represented by myself. It looks like the common practice, that he opens the new platform and by clicking, he gets to know platform/system and can reproduce and teach the others. It reminds him of playing the Tetris in the early 90s and tryin to figure out the right position. All this would not be possible without another team member the master of the administration represented by Mary Jane, who holds it all together by helping those two others to get their information together, provide feedback to the craziest proposals andbe at the right time in the right place.

After tough discussions, we were able to enjoy a special proposal from our colleague from JA Zimbabwe. We have been driven to a very local place, which is famous for its butchery! Not only you would never find such a place without a local person, nor you would expect such a great quality of meat!

Once in a lifetime experience — this is exactly what we had that night!
