Back to school

Today we had a unique opportunity to visit one of the schools that has deployed Whiz Kids Workshop’s Tsehai Loves Learning platform. I can’t state enough how encouraging it was to be in a classroom full of kids that are so engaged, focused and actively participating in their daily program. The program that is based on the materials and assets that our host client here in Addis Ababa produces and supplies. It was also very inspiring to see those teachers being so passionate about their job — regardless of all the numerous limitations they face each day. This motivates us even more to do everything we can during our short stay in Ethiopia to help Whiz Kids scale and become a fully sustainable, long term, partner of that critical mission the team we have a privilege to work with is driving.

Nelson Mandela once said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” There is no doubt Whiz Kids Workshop, the partnering schools and their teachers are working on mastering that weapon.

Thank you, Whiz Kids Workshop! Thank you, Kara Mara Public School! Thank you, Ethiopia! That was an unforgettable lesson!
