Back to work, as if I was never away
After a nightly journey, I finally arrived back home on Sunday, returning from the 4-week long Social Sabbatical in Arusha, Tanzania. And what a great welcome back it was. My wife and our girls had decorated the front door nicely.
During the travel back, I managed to finish editing the interviews I recorded with Damian Bell and Saif Khanbhai on the creation of the Arusha Conservation Center.
Together with my 2 team members of the Honeyguide assignment, I feel confident that the input we have delivered will speed up the process to get the Conservation Center built, opened and running. Have a look here if you want to see the videos.
Meanwhile, I started getting into my regular work again. It is scary and comforting at the same time to see how, just after a few days, one gets back into the ongoing business, even after being out for four weeks.
I consider it an honor to have been part of the SAP Social Sabbatical program, and it was definately a pleasure to serve with such a great team of colleagues who had never met before.
Thank you SAP and Pyxera Global!
