Dasaran.am — equal education for all children
As a team of 3, Sailaja Vadlamudi from India, Denise Miranda from the US and me from Germany, we are working at Dasaran.am in Yerevan. Dasaran´s mission is to enable equal education to all children through an online learning portal as well as on-site trainings at the Dasaran Educational Center. What a fantastic mission and company.
Our objective is to evaluate additional revenue opportunities for Dasaran in Armenia as well as internationally and to provide suggestions on how to best scale as an organization in order to manage future growth.
Throughout the last three weeks we have been participating in a number of on-site trainings at Dasaran. Great to see enthusiastic trainers deliver an unforgettable day to the kids. After the training all kids leave fully inspired and with a huge smile on their face.
Further we had the opportunity to visit schools in Yerevan as well as in Eastern Armenia in the Region of Gegharkunik near lake Sevan to interview students, parents, teachers and principals. At all the schools we saw kids which are desperate for more and new learning opportunities. Fantastic! Those visits delivered valuable input for our defined Scope of Work. But apart from SOW Input we also experienced a great hospitality at all schools (which is actually true for all places we visited in Armenia).
Back at the office in Yerevan we were hosting a lively and very interactive Value Proposition Workshop together with the Dasaran team.
Time flies when you are busy and experience a ton of different new, interesting and inspiring things. It is already the last week and we are in the middle of preparing the final presentation and handover documents. Soon our mission at Dasaran will end, but I am sure it will not be the end for us in engaging with Dasaran.
