Today, we made our final presentation to the Vatsalya team. One on hand, it was an extremely joyous occasion filled with laughter, mutual appreciation across the team and a sense of accomplishment. Seeing the appreciation and emotional response from Jaimala, Hitesh, Kartikey, Ravinder and Kuldeep made our time here feel truly worthwhile.

We knew before the presentation that we had accomplished a lot of tasks, but today’s presentation made it clear that our work also made a difference for Vatsalya. Kartikey described the experience like this, “You took what looked like a difficult and zig-zagging road and transformed it into a clear path ahead. Something that had seemed like a dream now seems possible.”

But the joy of the day was also touched with a bit of sadness. Today was the last time our team will see Jaimala and Hitesh. For the last month, they have opened their hearts, office, school and home to us and for that I am truly grateful. We could not have asked for a better host organization. At the same time, several of our SAP colleagues have changed their flight arrangements and will be leaving us earlier than originally planned. So the goodbyes are beginning — which is always the hardest part of any adventure.

Kartikey shared a photo of the campus site 18 years ago. So much has changed!; Ready to present; The full team has arrived.
