I’m thrilled to introduce you to a transformative journey I’ve recently embarked on, it is once in a lifetime opportunity. I’m talking about the SAP Social Sabbatical.
So, what is the Social Sabbatical?
Back in 2012, SAP introduced the Social Sabbatical as one of its numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, showcasing its dedication not only to business excellence but also to making a tangible difference in society.
This program is structured to offer various engagement levels, including global, regional, local, and executive. I’m honored to share that I’m diving into the global engagement, collaborating with 12 remarkable SAP colleagues from all corners of the world.
Our destination?
The enchanting landscapes and vibrant communities of Morocco!
Why this matters so much to me…
Being part of such a groundbreaking initiative isn’t just about lending skills — it’s about connecting with a greater purpose.
It’s a golden opportunity to immerse in diverse cultures and contribute directly to making the world a better place. Knowing that a global software company like SAP invests so deeply in CSR programs and that I get to be a part of this mission, fills me with immense gratitude and pride.
My Mission with Jadara Foundation
Our mission in Morocco involves supporting various social businesses that operate on a non-profit basis. My collaboration is with the inspiring Jadara Foundation.
Jadara Foundation's noble mission is to empower young Moroccans from underserved areas, offering them scholarships, improved employment opportunities, language education, and the development of essential personal skills.
Working alongside this foundation offers a rare chance to both impart knowledge and draw wisdom from driven individuals passionately making a difference every day.
