Holy week in Peru started off with Palm sunday. We should have been in Jauja, but were blocked by a solid landslide. A result of the massive rains causing havoc in many parts of Peru.

We therefore met up in the office for another day of ideation and discussion.

Moving on from the product quality issues, we now start the discussion on how to improve transparency on production performance.

KPIs were defined, bottle necks identified and excel reports implemented. Next step is to test, verify and implement at the plant.

We’re making a second attempt at reaching the Andes next week – the rains are supposedly becoming less frequent next week, reducing the probability of landslides.

As this is holy week we’re off for the weekend already on Wednesday. And by coincidence our Irish/Singapore friend Ciaran was having his birthday. He invited all for a night out in Barranco.

As April is Jazz festival time, a band appeared a bit later to take the stage in the basement.

While the music was on, a painting was created in the back of the room.. Music was great, although very short and with many breaks.
