#sapsocialsabbatical Uganda, its the third weekend, Sunday 18th February 2018.

After an exceptional week in Hoima, the SAP team took an adventure to the Murchsion Falls National Park. The Murchison Falls, also referred to as the Kabarega Falls, is a waterfall found on the course of the great Nile. It actually breaks the stunning Victoria Nile, that flows across Uganda’s northern region from the vast Lake Victoria

Murchison Falls National Park sits on the shore of Lake Albert, in northwest Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop.

The team of 12 set of in 2 purpose built Land Rover 4x4 for a bumpy 4 to 5 hours drive to our destination Paraa Safari Lodge.

The hotel is magnificent, fully equipped with pool, good dining and lounging facilities, shop for small items, bar with TV and is surrounded by nature reserve.

After checking in a wonderful lunch we set off on a game drive which witnessed a magnificent sunset and plenty of animals, for me the highlight was the giraffe who move with elegance and the lions who demand authority

After buffet dinner and a few drinks most went to sleep early in order to start again tomorrow at 6:15am.

A fantastic sunrise with more animals and the team just thoroughly enjoying, followed by chilling out in the swimming pool then it was the Nile cruise in a private boat with our captain “James” which took us close to the Murchison Falls. The day ended with superb BBQ dinner with Ugandan singers and dancers……a superb day!
