On my way….

The last couple of days were pretty hectic trying to get everything and everyone ready but I finally closed the door behind me this morning. This journey has well and truly started!

(Expected low: Saying goodbye to distraught kids .. ’What am I doing’?)

As mental preparation is slowing down now I am at the airport ploughing through programme evaluation reports and strategy documents we were sent by the NPO. There is just one thought that keeps going through my mind: I so badly want to do well and make it count! ‘Mr Insecurity’ is trying to get a seat next to me on this cold metal Gate 204 bench at Dublin airport. Thankfully the knowledge of the fact I am part of an incredibly strong team helps to keep these thoughts at bay…(Just)
