Project to improve the lives of people with disabilities

PRISMA is seeking to improve the lives of people with disabilities in Peru. This involves identifying and addressing a multitude of aspects, such as education, certification, accessibility, employers, and legal and bureaucratic aspects.

PRISMA is working together with the SAP Social Sabbatical team (Malinee, Nuno, and Marianne) and their project assistant Pablo on this project. The combined team are working on finalizing a scope of work by the end of this week, and have already had numerous information exchanges, a design thinking workshop, and an analysis and identification of interview partners.

Interviews will take place Friday through Tuesday with people and agencies, such as CONADIS, OMAPED, schools, a lawyer, employers, and people with disabilities and their families. Using the Design Thinking methods of story telling, personas and point of view, the joint team will then start ideation and prototyping next week.

So watch out for more blogs on our progress.
