Social Sabbatical 2022, Kigali, Rwanda
Week 1
What do you know about Rwanda? I certainly didn’t know much, especially not before August 2022. Then I learned that my application to participate in the SAP Social Sabbatical for global engagement in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda was accepted and started to search for information.

Now I am in Kigali a little more than a week, still I don’t know much, but a lot more than before. What I can say already: It is a beautiful country and truly amazing experience.
We are a team of 12 SAP colleagues from all over the world providing pro-bono consulting to 4 social entrepreneur client organizations, helping them to overcome some of their business challenges.
My sub-team supports #Kosmotive, a provider of re-usable sanitary pads.
It is very impressive, what Kosmotive has achieved so far. I am honored to have the chance to work with them for the next weeks.
