Our last weekend of the social sabbatical was knocking on the door! According to our plan, which we agreed already from our homes, we were about to go to EASTERN HIGHLANDS specifically to a park called Nyanga, or as I have just recently learned from my private source of truth about Zimbabwean culture = Inyanga would be an option as well…This area is famous for its different unexplainable things happening high in the mountains…

Before we although will focus more on the spirits and all incredible things happening in that beautiful nature, let’s see what we have been doing…

Mtarazi Falls

The Mutarazi Falls is the highest waterfall in Zimbabwe, the second-highest in Africa (after the Tugela Falls in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa which are 948 meters or 3,110 feet) and seventeenth highest in the world.

We went there not only to look at the dry falls but also to do some adrenalin activities. When you are far enough to do wide activities the skywalk is welcoming you! For those who are more into a unique experience than Skyline is worthy. It is the highest natural Zipline in the world!

Coming back almost in darkness we have been advised not to talk about anything we saw in that point of time and so we did just in seek of security and respect of the spirits!

Our nicely located hotel Pine Tree Inn was expecting us all ready for dinner. Its location enables to do different activities in different directions as it is just in the middle of everything.

And when you are staying in such nature where no lights are breathing everything around you can enjoy the astonishing view on a starry sky, unbelievable what we have seen… there are just no words in any language to properly express the views without clouds where you see all kinds of stars together!

On Sunday our experience of nature continued. We went to the northern part of Inyanga national park to the so-called World’s view. It was a steep hike up to the highest rock from where the view was even better than at the beginning. On the other side, you better compare yourself.

The time flies and so we started our way back to Harare. What didn’t surprised me at all? It was the fact you can buy various fruits vegetables along the way…all nicely packed in plastic!

To conclude the spirit topic, we haven’t seen anything suspicious and I know why, because of all the energy and goodwill of people we met so far in Zimbabwe. Those once were protecting us during our journey.

Thank you my beloved Zimbabwean friends!!!
