Everyone likes something new. We prefer fresh food, new clothes, new gadgets, and sometimes even new experiences. The thing about new things is that they make us feel like the entire experience itself is also new again. Like driving a used car, or a used bike, even if they were both used, the fact that it is new to you gives it an edge in the beginning.

Well, the same goes for learning something new, especially if you anticipate that you will enjoy it. For example, you are a painter and decide to learn to mix music, you may begin to fantasize about one day turning passionate strokes of paint into musical beats. Or maybe you are a writer and decide to learn metalwork; you may find a new creative outlet to the stories you envision as a writer in the metal pieces you create. The path to endless creativity comes from learning something new and combining it with the tried and true skills that you already have.
