Can users find the content they want or need? Is the site delivering content to fit with the business needs? Information architecture is about organizing, structuring, and labeling content to satisfy both the business and users.
Here is an example of the work that goes into evaluating a site’s current architecture to propose informed restructuring. For this project, a public library was having their website redesigned. They wanted to keep their current content but open to conducting user research and analysis for suggested information architecture changes.
