Young Creative Makers Co: After School DIY Creative Project

Crafty kiddos won’t want to miss out on this second weekly workshop by Young Creative Maker, which will once again take place at Kids HQ on Sunday afternoon. This week’s workshop will be all about making colourful Pom Pom Earrings, with the price including half an hour of play time to run off some steam in the play area. The workshop is suitable for ages 8+ and costs 110 AED per session. RSVP to the event on Facebook here.

When: Sunday, 18 June, 2017, 2.30–4.30pm
Where: Kids HQ, Umm Suqeim Road

Babies Beyond Breastfeeding

Babies and Beyond Breastfeeding Support Event

Whether you are a new Mama just getting to grips with breastfeeding — or further into your feeding journey, with a few concerns or queries — this free Babies and Beyond support event, in collaboration with Breastfeeding Q&A UAE, promises all the support and guidance you need. Not only can you chat to experts in an informal setting, but you can also take the opportunity to have your baby weighed by midwives. See you there, mamas!

When: Monday, 19 June, 10am-12pm
Where: Babies and Beyond Mother and Child Center, Concord Tower, Dubai Media City

Ramadan sharing fridges

Ramadan Sharing Fridges

Let’s keep the spirit of sharing alive in the last week of Ramadan, mamas — and what better way than by stocking your nearest Ramadan Sharing Fridge with fruit, vegetables, juices, laban, water, dates, and snacks. You can find your nearest fridge through the Facebook Page here. And why not take along the kiddos to teach them about sharing and caring too? We love this initiative!

When: Throughout Ramadan
Where: Various locations

caboodle fathers day

Father’s Day at Caboodle

Take the kiddos to Caboodle on UAE Father’s Day (Wednesday, 21 June) and they can create a keepsake for their Daddy to show him how much they love and appreciate him. The activity will be included with every play time purchased on the day, so the whole fam can have fun in the play area before or after they get crafty! And there really is nothing like a homemade gift!

When: Wednesday, 21 June, 10am to 11pm
Where: Caboodle City Walk and The Dubai Mall

bounce dubai

X Park at Bounce

If you thought trampoline parks were just for the kiddos, think again, mamas! X-Park has just launched at Bounce in Al Quoz, offering an action-packed, 18-stage obstacle course set over two levels (think zip-lines, warped walls, and firemen poles!) Forget the gym mamas, as this is the ultimate way to exercise, developing core strength, building stronger bones, and boosting cardiovascular endurance. But ultimately, it’s fun too — so why not move your next date night to here? It definitely beats heading to dinner and chatting about the kids again!

When: Ongoing
Where: Bounce, Building 32, 4B Street, Behind Ace Hardware, Sheikh Zayed Road
