Trump announces merger of Trump Organization, US Government

President Elect Donald J. Trump has announced an unprecedented merger of the United States Government and his business interests in The Trump Organization. The combined entity will be called The Trump States of America. This is expected to be completed by 2018 subject to regulatory approval, which is thought be a formality.

Norman Eisen, Chief Ethics Counsel for Barack Obama, condemned the move, calling it a

“wholesale oligarchic kleptocracy”.

President Elect Trump responded:

“This will be the best kleptocracy ever. You can’t get better than wholesale. I’m practically giving America away”.
