Next Wednesday, we’ll be cutting through the hazy cloud of smoke that surrounds terms like “AI” and “machine learning” with two panels that address the intersection of remote sensing and automated analyses.

“AI 101” will be laying the groundwork of what you can expect as a consumer of an AI/ML created product. This group of folks will be critically discussing the coverage and quality expectations you can have around things like automated building footprint extraction and anomaly detection from satellite and aerial images. They’ll break down the reality of what’s possible today and let us in on honest opinions of what’s coming, and importantly, what’s not.

“Bot or Not?” will be discussing the meeting place of humans & machines, turning the conversation from competitive to cooperative; instead of humans or machines, let’s discuss humans and machines. There’s still a massive amount of automated technology that requires heavy human input, tuning, and interpretation. What do these workflows look like? How are folks in the industry navigating the new scope of “human-in-the-loop” analytics?

Join us at SatSummit for these (and many more) in-depth conversations. Tickets are still available on our registration website.
