We have both a big announcement and a big apology to make. Since we launched our crypto app back in March, the number one feature request has been PayPal support. And we thought “Sure, that can’t be that hard, let’s totally add PayPal!”. Well, it turns out it was slightly more complicated than expected, and without going into the details (which are nice and juicy), we have finally integrated PayPal.
First, we apologize it took so long. But second, we are VERY EXCITED to finally offer PayPal to our users. The integration is happening this week, and all users will be gradually notified by either email or push notifications.
Also, we know that not everyone has a credit card, which was one more reason to push for this new option. So if you were waiting to supercharge your savings and top up your account until this clandestine day, your wait is now over!
Some questions you may have:
Wait, is this really happening? This isn’t a cruel joke, is it?
Nope, this is real life, people.
But why PayPal?
Not only PayPal is one of the most popular payment methods around, consumer’s prefer it for numerous reasons:
+ PayPal is always free to use. Plus, setting up an account is straight simple;
+ It is as fast as credit card, but you don’t have to share your details with us;
+ PayPal keeps financial information private;
I have been using credit card. What happens now?
You don’t have to worry if you’ve already topped up your account using credit card. We’ll have a subtle migration of services. Everyone will be notified during and after the transition.
The only thing that changes is that instead of having a credit card connected to your account, you can now trigger PayPal for every transaction. This will not only give you full control over your account, but also a wider range of payment possibilities.
Here at savedroid we are always keen to make things work better and more streamline for our loyal community, and we are confident that the integration of this new payment method will make your experience with our app even more satisfying. So, feel free to let us know how things are going with PayPal.
Thanks for your patience.
