Dating back to 2019, the ZiMAD + Scalarr cooperation has been rewarding as our Scalarr Protection Suite helped ZiMAD significantly reduce their fraud percentages. For a period of time, ZiMAD’s user acquisition team had such positive results that they decided to pause our cooperation since fraud levels were so low.

As game developers, they’re constantly looking for new partners to buy traffic from. In 2020, thanks to COVID-19 which brought an unprecedented demand for new games and content, ZiMAD was aggressively strategizing to acquire new users and maintain their success level.

With new traffic sources of all sizes and quality levels, ZiMAD set out to perform initial tests. The results showed odd and suspicious behavior, alerting to the fact that the traffic wasn’t coming in from real players even though their MMP was not marking that traffic as fraudulent.
