Introducing Autolog
Today, we are excited to introduce the beta launch of Autolog, a web3 native collaborative logging solution. Autolog is a fully managed logging solution that takes a few minutes to set up on your blockchain validator or full node. Once set up, you can stream, search, filter and debug issues from Scale3’s platform without worrying about setting log rotation or running Linux commands like awk / grep to search through logs.
Key Features and Benefits
- Instant search: Search is a fundamental requirement for any logging solution. With Autolog, you can search through 1000s of log messages in milliseconds, thereby giving you a powerful experience to debug and resolve issues quickly.
- Filters: Refine your search by using the filters to query for logs (for example — in the last 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or even between two custom timestamps).
- Secure and quick setup: With Scale3 CLI, it takes less than 2 minutes to stream logs from your validator / node to the platform. We use the best-in-class open-source tool (Vector) to stream logs from your validator / node, which makes it highly secure and efficient to stream logs.

What’s next?
- Alerts: Get alerted for custom string patterns or messages so you can proactively respond to issues even before it occurs.
- Intelligence: We are building an AI / ML driven intelligence layer on top of logs to generate real-time actionable reports, thereby reducing the time to resolution even further.
- Collaboration: Additionally, we are building our logging platform with a collaborative-first approach. Share your logs with your team / community members to collaboratively debug issues quickly.
- Support for other blockchain networks: Today, Autolog is only available for Sui validators. However, we are enabling support for other blockchain networks, so stay tuned.
