Announcing Torum IDO and Whitelisting Campaign
We are thrilled to announce that Torum will launch its IDO on Scaleswap on September 14th at 12pm UTC/8pm HKT !
Torum is a crypto-focused social media platform that is specially designed for cryptocurrency users and projects. Torum empowers projects with a one-stop crypto marketing suite that enables them to expand their market reach to the right audience, while connecting users through a social media platform and fulfilling their crypto-focused needs through the integration of NFT, DeFi and aggregated industry data (market cap & news).
As usual, Torum IDO will take part both in the public and private pool. The total raise is $150K, of which $100K will be placed in the private pool (open to users based on ScaleSCORE ranking), and the remaining $50K will be placed in the public pool.

We will run a whitelisting campaign and KYC in parallel, so please keep an eye on your inbox (and remember spam folder)! KYC instructions will be sent out in multiple email batches.

For the public pool, participants will need to complete a series of tasks to gain entries into the lottery. Simply complete as many of the tasks listed as possible. The more tasks you complete, the more entries you will receive.
KYC will be required after you are selected.
Private Pool (ScaleSCORE based) Instructions:

For the private pool, you will only need to enter your email and the wallet address that contains your SCA tokens and ScaleSCORE. Please be sure to use the Metamask wallet that contains your SCA tokens and is connected to https://scaleswap.io. Entering the wrong wallet, or an empty wallet that does not contain SCA/ScaleSCORE will result in the user losing their opportunity to participate in the private pool.
Once you sign up for the private pool whitelist, you will receive an email regarding KYC, which is mandatory before you proceed to IDO participation.
Private Pool participation is based on ranking according to your ScaleSCORE. For the Torum private pool, only the top 250 ScaleSCORE holders ( 100KUSD / 400 USD = 250 participants) will be able to participate in the first 15 minutes. However, please note that some top ScalSCORE holders may not participate or invest the max amount. Therefore, the actual number can easily expand beyond the first 250 and potentially open up to many more.
If the private pool is not filled in the first 15 minutes by the top 250 users (who also must have passed whitelisting and KYC), an additional 50 ScaleSCORE holders will be whitelisted for the next 15 minute window.The procedure will repeat every 15 minutes until the pool is filled.
Whitelist Tier System Explanation:
- Volume of Private Pool / max allocation = max number of guaranteed participants
- Number of guaranteed participants is decided based on ScaleSCORE ranking.
- We offer a 15 minute window for guaranteed participation.
- After the 15 minute window expires, we start to whitelist the next top 50 ScaleSCORE holders until the pool is filled.

Which countries are excluded in the IDO participation?
Please be aware that if you are a citizen, resident (tax or otherwise) or green card holder of The United State of America, you cannot participate in whitelisting. General terms and conditions apply.
How do I know if I was selected?
We will send out multiple email batches to people who are successfully whitelisted, you will need to follow KYC instructions in the email. Please keep an eye for your inbox (and spam folder just in case).
How will you discourage bots and cheating?
The whitelisting process utilizes a fraud filter to detect bots, scripts, and multiple emails from the same IP address. Additionally, whitelist entrants will be checked for: valid addresses, Telegram handles, e-mail addresses, and Twitter accounts. If any bot or manipulation attempts are detected, they will be eliminated prior to the randomized drawing.
