PsychoAnal as Demon Exorcism Ritual
Because this is what I see in my minds eye when I read these journals.
I saw “From somatic pain to psychic pain: The body in the psychoanalytic field.” as a prepress print publication and tried to figure out what it was talking about.
I then translated it into a distasteful parody thru the linguistic and psychoanalytical act similar to dream reading.
By describing how this process is annotated in my head as a series of perverse poop metaphors, I hope you too can see the complicated fear of death that these articles indwell within my psyche. I too seek my own integration of psyche and soma thru the act of meditative writing.

Unholy Communication.
It is thru the blessings of the holy union of marriage that a baby’s soul is bound to it’s body. And with the love of the mother, god’s will ensure’s that the soul is fully realized within the body. But not all mothers are able to fully express god’s love, and so the baby is left with badness. This concentrated evil is often expelled as poop and gas — causing the body great discomfort. But sometimes that discomfort doesn’t leave the body, it becomes compacted and evil.
This letter describes how the poop infuses the baby with pain and suffering, leading to demonic possession as they age, and how it’s exorcised. We focus on the channeling process between the priest and the possessed, in particular how the demon will attempt to possess the priest as well. In doing so, the priest seeks to experience symbolic constipation in order to summon a minor demon himself to aid in the process as described in Matthew 8:28–34. Yelling at the possessed child and flashing lights at them is a great way to surface the demon. (we don’t beat the demons out, that’s barbaric.)
A great monk pioneered the demon summoning process. He described how the child will reject your attempts to summon the demon. This concept can be found in another priest’s contribution of the idea that the demon is lying, and later on a subsequent priest’s notion of the demon’s fake compliance. We allude to further details of the described summoning process with theoretical concepts from many contemporary high-priests.
With the aid of yelling “The power of Christ compels you”, as described by it’s original invocation, we discuss the important question of how the priest can bring forth the demon from hiding, describing a particular way of causing acute damage to the child. A vignette displays how this act looks like in real life vs how it is described. It is messier than you’d expect. Lots of vomit. The vomit is so gross, the priest will often vomit himself. The patient, who had been unable to express their gasses cleanly, (whose soul did not fully manifest in his body), often bring forth the unreleased poop into his body, where they emerged as cramping and further discomfort. It is gross, bodily fluid gets everywhere.
By consuming the child’s poop, the priest is able to channel the demon — he does not swallow it though, for fear of becoming fully possessed. By miming the constipation, the priest was able to recognize his disgust as the demon’s fear of being sent to hell, and thru the power of his faith in god, was able to hold down his own vomit. It was gross. The emerging taste of the poop helped the priest to contribute to the child’s exorcism. The priest was able to help the child get in touch emotionally with the many times he had trouble on the toilet. The function of the demon’s possession was to restrain the child’s soul. These frightening feelings could now be worked through on a spiritual level; they could enter into a process of ritualized prayers so that the demon possession was no longer necessary and disappeared.
Disclaimer: This is a parody meant to express my own twisted world view thru and act of creativity. This is not meant as an attack against the psychoanalytical profession as a whole, nor against the writers of that paper. Nor is it meant to insult christian faiths or religious convictions. I know many people in all of these areas that are sincerely trying to help people and really do care about their patients, possessed or otherwise.
The primary purposes of this is intended to lampoon the dense linguistic format that seems to prevail within that profession by pointing out how some of the content sounds when read by a skeptical laymen.
My main goal was for you to get a laugh out of the immature poop jokes. 🙇
