March 04, Sofia, Bulgaria — SCIANT, a leading vertically-focused IT solutions development company, has been listed in this year’s top 1000 Fastest Growing Companies by Financial Times. The 2021 ranking, done by Financial Times for Europe, evaluates companies on annual growth rate in revenue achieved over a set span of years.

Sciant came in as the fastest growing technology company in Bulgaria, and number 361 overall, in Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2021 ranking. This year, companies were measured by their revenue growth rate for the period between 2016 and 2020, demonstrating Sciant’s growth rate of 453%. Other important factors included in the ranking list are the founding year of the company, the number of employees, country of operations, and the business sector. Sciant was founded in 2016 and has expanded to triple-digit employees and currently holds top positions in customer satisfaction ratings in the Clutch.co and Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

We are extremely proud to be included in the FT 1000. It is a testament of the hard work and dedication of the whole team, our strong value-driven work culture, our intensive vertical focus, and our focus on doing right by our customers,” said Angel Mitev, CEO and Co-founder.

Sciant has kept its focus and clear vision, and the effort of the management and employees has paid off. “Sciant has a strong position in the marketplace due to our focus on the quality of delivery to the customers and to our commitment to empathic company culture. Our team members know that company leadership really cares for them and they respond with outstanding performance,” said Evlogi Georgiev, Founder, and COO.

Sciant has a substantial client base across its vertical areas of practice, including companies such as Avalara and Tora (FinTech & Banking), DHL and Ligentia (Transportation & Logistics), and Oaky and OTA Insight (Travel & Hospitality). The company expanded into Managed Services two years ago, and now has 2,000 hotels on the managed platform as well as plans to add up to 15,000 sites including hotels, restaurants, and retail points of sale in 2021.

Despite the challenges of 2020, Sciant had its strongest fourth-quarter sales in the company’s history and 2021 has started off like a rocket!,” says Stephen Burke, CCO and Co-founder. “Our Managed Services business grew 100% year-on-year during 2020, and we have signed several large, multi-year system development projects. We are expanding our team and investing to position ourselves for further rapid growth. The future looks incredibly bright here at Sciant!”
