Ranking System — A community-driven ranking system which enhances the quality and security of the platform by establishing a proven trust score amongst all market actors.
Trusted Members — The Trusted Member title is given to the most highly regarded SciDex members. They are active, engaging, recognized and hold a sufficient amount of ScieTokens, granting them a number of unique rights on the platform.
Community Votes — Trusted Members of the SciDex community actively and collectively vote on key decisions for the SciDex Marketspace.
Rewards System — Rewards are a key mechanism for the organic growth of the community. They are earned and distributed after successful data curation, data validation or other community-contributions.
3. The Investment & Subsidy Vehicle
The first community-driven fund to accelerate data creation and accessibility by incentivizing existing providers and investing in breakthrough scientific data startups.
Subsidy System — Large corporations sit on big data silos. SciDex subsidizes these companies to offer these datasets to the community and make it accessible to the world.
Investment system — Breakthrough startups that have yet to partake in the big data industry and could result in strong advancements in science, should be given a chance to thrive. Therefore, the SciDex Foundation will provide a unique, selective and community-driven investment system to finance those projects and break the financial barriers of entry.
Best Practice & Compliance — All investments and subsidies will follow the established best practice procedures and relevant compliance rules to leverage the funding in the most optimal manner.
