Lately, I’ve been thinking about evidence and the process of verification. In light of Russian domestic doubt toward evidence of war crimes in Ukraine, severe skepticism toward the efficacy of vaccines, and the uprooting of the authority in institutions, many of us worry about the severity of the problem at hand.
