In plain numbers, black (professional) philosophers are less than 1% of philosophers overall, a very disturbing number. And the numbers of other philosophers of color (and women and disabled philosophers and LGBTQ philosophers) are also disturbing… For me, as a hermeneuticist, all ideas are generated from phenomenologicalexperience.
