We know Shea butter as a component of our cosmetic products. It’s one of the best skin emollients. Due to its many uses, it's been used for centuries and even today, apart from medicinal uses, it’s been used for other purposes traditionally.

Shea butter is taken out from the nuts of Shea trees. It is edible as well as used in cosmetic products worldwide. Cosmetic items can sometimes be trouble for people having sensitive skin but Shea butter is a trouble-free alternative. It is used in hair, lips, and facial products.

Constituents of Shea Butter

Shea butter has plenty of triglycerides which include palmitic, linoleic, stearic, and oleic fatty acids. They are responsible for all the good effects brought by the commodity in question.
When talking about vitamins, some latest research shows that it has vitamin E and A. Vitamin E in Shea Butter is mostly in the form of alpha-tocopherol. But if we take a look at USDA information, Shea butter has no vitamins.

Moreover, researches show that it has catechins which is also a component of green tea. (That way both of them have so so many benefits.)

Regenerating the damaged skin cells can cure acne scars, wrinkles, sunburn marks, and even cuts. It can be used in pure form and as a mixture with other skin-friendly products. It can also work as a sunscreen. When fighting with dandruff and other hair issues, it’s best. It can soften lips and is believed to be helpful for children. Shea butter is used as an ingredient in many recipes, especially in African countries. It’s all in one type of blessing.

So, Shea butter used in our cosmetic products has natural usefulness. It is good for people of all skins, and all ages. It has several marvels and with time world is making more out of it. It’s amazingly good for the people with the worst skin problem as they at least have something which works for them. Let’s be thankful for this bounty of nature!
