Science Blockchain launches Fyle, the token holder communications platform

Today, most token projects (ourselves included) have to use a variety of channels to get their messages out — Medium, email, Telegram, and more. None of these channels are foolproof, and there’s no way to guarantee token holders are receiving messages — they may not register for channels like Telegram, email doesn’t always work. Inboxes fill up; emails bounce.

No matter how many channels we tried, we didn’t have a reliable way to ensure every token holder received every message.

This can be frustrating for token holders, too. Even if an email gets through, it’s going into a noisy inbox filled with countless other messages. So we embarked on solving this problem for not only ourselves, but for all other Ethereum-based tokens as well.We created a single information channel through which issuers can confidently communicate with their token holders and ensure that every token holder receives every communication. And where token holders can confidently find every piece of communication from the issuer, and know that it is legitimate.

We built Fyle, which we think is the first and best messaging platform built for token holder communications. It’s a new way to deliver messages through ETH wallet addresses. Because messages are delivered through a wallet address, token holders don’t have to sign up for any updates or subscription to ensure they’re receiving updates, and we can ensure we’re getting our messages out to every single token holder. We’ll use it to send messages such as:

• Token holder announcements
• Token snapshot and distributions announcements
• Legal announcements
• New Science Blockchain incubations and investments
• Quarterly NAV statements

We’ll still send our updates via the traditional mediums — Fyle is just a new way to ensure we reach everyone every time. Because it uses the blockchain, we can confirm every message gets delivered. Here’s how SCI token holders can see a message in Fyle:
