Boeing recently confirmed about a one billion dollar contract with NASA which will help support the International Space Station (ISS) activities through to 2024. The flight authority is NASA’s official lead industry partner for the ISS since 1993, and will still celebrate orbiting the space laboratory through September of 2024 under a $916 million contract extension awarded today.
Under the terms of the contract, Boeing will provide engineering support services, resources, and personnel for activities aboard the ISS and manage many of the station’s systems. The contract is valued at about $225 million annually.
