Doctors say Coronavirus antibody test is not enough to return to work
Coronavirus antibody testing is not so simple and you need not return to work! Keep your distance
National Lab companies are offering medical trials and Coronavirus antibody tests as a part of their return to work protocols. But doctors are warning that these tests should not be the only determining factor on when to return to the office. Another one of the most important factors is the mental state of the concerned people as many individuals are currently going through depression.
Dr. Susan Bailey, President of the American Medical Association, says there is not a perfect antibody test out there right now to determine an individual’s immunity to COVID-19. The tests are getting better. The researchers have come a long way in the last few months, but they are certainly not ready to do anything like give someone an immunity certificate or anything like that. Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp are two companies offering to test to employers.
