I’m interested in self-improvement through learning. I have a vested interest. Part of my business plan is to get operational leaders to want to improve their competencies so they can more effectively lead their organizations in a journey towards operational excellence. I want to help these leaders learn and apply. So, I’m walking the walk.

This post and a series to follow stem from my enrolment in Seth Godin’s Leadership Workshop I’m taking online. I read Seth’s new book This is Marketing which made a huge impression on me, so much that I exclaimed to my wife while reading on a beach, “It’s like this book was written for me, for this very moment.” I’ve been contemplating signing up for Seth’s AltMBA program so I consider this Leadership Workshop a bit of a dry run.

What follows this post will be several posts relating to the Leadership Workshop. These posts are not intended for anyone but myself, but any reader caring to invest a bit of their time might get something out of it. I’d be happy to engage in some productive conversations so feel free to reach out. Cheers!
