One important thing to consider are the benefits of online learning, and how you can explore these for yourself.

1. Do your research! There are so many educators making Lessons on Scoodle (and we’re growing every day!), so make sure find someone who really resonates with you. Filter for your subject and check out their profiles to find out more about them — many educators have free videos and a Q&A section for you to get to know their teaching style. Don’t know about you, but we think it’s pretty cool to be able to pick your teacher for once!
2. Make it your own. Not only are our educators continuously uploading video Lessons, they are also available for tailored 1-on-1 sessions! So feel free to message them in case you need some individual feedback or extra support on the content they’ve put out. 3. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. The best way to include online learning as part of your day is to schedule it in advance. We’ve found this also helps avoiding every day feel like more of the same. You know yourself best, so if you’re an early bird or a night owl, set yourself a reminder to watch one or two video Lessons at a time that works for you. Your future self will thank you!
4. Develop your note-taking. To get the most benefit out of any online learning you’re doing, it’s important to actively retain information. The best way to do this is by taking notes (which will be handy when it comes to revision!). To make sure you don’t just end up doodling your crush’s name in bubble letters, the Cornell note-taking method is worth looking in to. It’s super efficient and you can use this method from GCSEs to A-Levels and beyond; it’s truly the gift that keeps on giving.
